Wednesday's Work

i was hoping that i'd be more organized this year, but it doesn't seem like it's clicking in yet. i was also hoping to have a schedule, but that only makes me depressed. you see with four sons, even when they're off to school there's so much to do. do i clean and do laundry ? do i run errands? do i get on the treadmill? do i paint and sketch? by the time i go thru the options sometimes i feel like i've done them all. one day at a time will be my new approach.

weird and wacky

Lately i've been forcing myself to just draw. Not worry so much about the perfect shape face, or proportionate nose. It's liberating and a little scary.

just dance

This is a new brooch that I've just added to my shop. I'm noticing a theme lately with my brooches and pins. I call them "Little Big Mouths". They often say and do the things that I wish I could. I guess I'll live through them for a while. Anyway, meet Chase. 


Chase is a party guy. He's that guy. The one that tries to hard to keep up with the youngsters. He thinks he's sooo cool, even though he's waaay past his prime. He's friends try to tell him, but he thinks they're jealous. Chase flys by the seat of his pants. He's not interested in commitments or sleeping over. He doesn't care what everyone else is doing,  he just wants to party.

Chase wants you to just dance.
